Gray to step down from National Trust position
Jennifer Gray will step down as executive director of the Bermuda National Trust at the end of July.
Ms Gray has held the position for the past eight years. Members of the charity were informed of her decision to resign this week.
In a letter written to members the trust’s president, William White, revealed that Ms Gray’s last working day would be July 27.
While in her resignation letter Ms Gray said: “The achievements of my tenure are not accomplishments an executive director makes alone.
“These are achievements that require a committed team of gifted, tenacious individuals who come together to work relentlessly for a common goal.”
Mr White thanked Ms Gray for her “unwavering commitment to the Trust”, and all that has been achieved under her leadership.
“In her resignation letter, Jennifer has described her decision as “bittersweet”,” Mr White said. “While leaving for personal reasons, to take a break before embarking on her next chapter, she talked about how highly she valued the trust and how she would personally cherish the connections made during her tenure.”
