Two seriously injured in crashes
Two people were seriously injured in separate road crashes early yesterday morning.
In the first accident, which took place on North Shore Road in Pembroke, 200 metres east of C-mart around at 5.05am, a 42-year-old motorcyclist reportedly lost control of his cycle and collided with a wall.
As a result the man was taken to the hospital where his was being treated for serious head injuries.
Today it was reported he was listed in stable condition in ICU.
Just over an hour later a second incident happened on South Road in Paget, 200 metres east of Elbow Beach public entrance.
A police spokesman said it appeared that a 44-year-old woman lost control of her motorcycle and went over an embankment.
She was assisted by members of the public and the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service and subsequently taken to the hospital where she was listed in serious condition.
However, she has now been moved to a general ward.
