Bermudian to lecture at Oxford University

Bermudian civil rights activist Kingsley Tweed has been invited to deliver a lecture at Oxford University in England next week.
In addition to his speech on “Race and Protest”, the documentary When Voices Rise will be screened for the third time at the university.
Mr Tweed was invited by Dr Imaobong Umoren, a graduate of King’s College London and the University of Oxford, whose interest in lies the history of women, gender, and race across the nineteenth and twentieth century global African diaspora.
She is currently writing her first book about the world travels of a group of Caribbean and African American women intellectuals in the twentieth century.
