A Sandys man denied possessing cannabis and a knife when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
On February 21, police stopped a vehicle travelling along South Road in Paget, and allegedly discovered cannabis and a brown and gold lock knife belonging to 30-year-old Brendan Hunt.
Officers also found 1.96 grams of cannabis on 20-year-old Kethyio Whitehurst, who pleaded guilty to the charge and received a $300 fine.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released Mr Hunt on $3,000 bail.
He was ordered to return to court for trial on October 3.
