Several people have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on Middle Road this morning.

The accident happened at about 6.50am, near the junction with Church Road in Southampton.

The road has been reopened, after it was blocked and traffic diverted while emergency services conducted their work.

The injuries sustained in the collision do not appear to be serious, a police spokeswoman said.
