A woman has reported to police a burglary at her residence in Sandys, believed to have taken place last night or in the early hours of this morning.

It is understood that the burglary took place at a residence off Middle Road near Maxi Mart between 11.30pm and 2.30am.

One of the items said to have been stolen was a gold ring with an emerald square stone which carries “huge sentimental value” for its owner.
