Bermuda’s only home care cancer charity will be holding its fifth Mad Hair Day fundraiser on Friday.

Pals is inviting schools, businesses, clubs, organisations and friends to join the fun by donating $5 to wear their hair in a “mad” or “crazy” way for the day.

“Our annual expenses are now in excess of $1.45 million and we need your support,” the charity stated. “Please wear your hair in a mad or crazy way and donate to Pals. Let’s go mad for Pals and have a hair-raising experience.”

Those wanting to participate can donate $5 and/or purchase a $35 ticket, which includes the after party at Docksider Pub & Restaurant.

From 6pm onwards, partygoers will receive a free welcome drink from Burrows Lightbourne and happy hour drinks prices will run till 9pm. The event will features raffles and mad hair wigs for sale, along with prizes for the best Mad Hair Day efforts.
