A 50-year-old female pedestrian who was knocked down on Friday evening by a car was discharged from hospital after being treated for her injuries, police reported.

The Warwick woman was struck on Reid Street near the Parliament Street junction at about 4.40pm.

According to a spokesman, the collision remains under investigation, and witnesses should contact the main police telephone number, 295-0011.
