Bus service has now been fully restored after further clean-ups in Hamilton Parish.

While bus service largely resumed on Saturday, two days after the impact of Hurricane Nicole, route 1 remained out of operation until Tuesday.

Even then, the buses could not service the Mid Ocean Club and were diverted to Harrington Sound Road, bypassing a section of the route.

However, in a statement this afternoon, the Department of Public Transport that full service on the route would resume at 5pm today — including service to the Mid Ocean Club.
