Arts festival postponed due to rain
The City Arts Festival scheduled for today has been postponed until tomorrow because of bad weather.
Organisers say, despite the change of date, the line-up of local and international musicians and performers will remain unchanged at Queen Elizabeth Park from 2pm to 8pm tomorrow.
Visual artists, performance art, spoken word, live musical performances, street and public art are all part of the agenda at the festival.
Art vendors, fire performances, children’s craft area, art installations, food vendors and live entertainment will also be included.
Bermuda’s own Mishka and Devaune Ratteray have returned home to provide performances as well as The Big Chill, The Simons Brother’s Band, Trioka, DanceSations, Jackson School of Dance, and a finale presentation by Rock Fire Productions.
Entry for children under 18 and seniors is free and the fee for adults is $20. Tickets
are available online at www.bdatix.bm or from City Hall Offices.
Part proceeds will benefit The Chewstick Foundation. For more information, visit the City of Hamilton on Facebook.
• The Uptown Karaoke Competition scheduled to take place in North East Hamilton today has been postponed until next Saturday, but the Uptown Bar Hop will continue as planned tonight.
