Educational grants will be for grabs when young Bermudians enter the RUBiS Sustainable Energy Challenge.

Those who enter — teams and individuals — will be asked to provide “innovative solutions to the challenges of Bermuda’s energy production and consumption.”

The deadline for submissions has been extended to December 16.

“RUBiS and the Department of Energy have teamed up with the Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative to conduct the Challenge which calls for individual or teams of students from middle and senior schools or those home schooled less than 18 years of age, to conceive of an innovative solution to problems based on energy technologies,” explained a press release.
