The members of Progressive Labour Party’s Constituency 15 are to host their annual Hamper Drive at Grace Methodist Church this Saturday.

Collection of items for hampers will officially take place this Saturday starting at 8am at the church.

Shadow Minister of National Security Walter Roban said: “We welcome donations of non-perishable food items and toiletries to be given in hampers for needy individuals and families in our community. Food vouchers are also gratefully accepted. Many persons in our communities are in dire need and it is our aim to assist wherever possible.

“Last year we hosted a very successful drive and accommodated many families. This will be followed by a small Christmas party for children in the community starting at 1pm and ending at 4pm. Persons wishing to receive a hamper are also welcome at this time.

“We look forward to receiving the community’s support in doing the same this year and thank you for your giving spirits.
