Participants and volunteers of the Mirrors Programme have donated more than $2,000 for autism charity Tomorrow’s Voices.
A total of $2,325, raised through bake sales, a carwash and school grub days, were donated to the charity to support their advocacy on behalf of the island’s autistic community.
A spokeswoman said the charity was selected by the participants and volunteers at Mirrors, explaining: “Tomorrow’s Voices was selected as the recipient after members of the organisation gave a presentation to Mirrors participants and volunteers regarding the services that they provide and their benefits to the autistic community.”
