Global Atlantic Re donates to food programme
The Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church has been given a $5,000 boost for its community feeding programme thanks to Global Atlantic Re.
The company, a subsidary of the Global Atlantic Financial Group, had already donated $10,000 to the programme this year to help them provide meals for the homeless and the needy.
The programme has been operating for more than 30 years, and helps on avedage 140 Bermudians a week.
April Galda, Co-CEO of Global Atlantic Re, said: “We are big believers that companies should give back to their local communities. We feel privileged to be able to partner with the Community Feeding Program and are happy to continue our support over the holidays and every day.”
In addition to the monetary donations, the Global Atlantic Re team also helped package food boxes which will be distributed to those in need.
