Months after starring in the Troika production of The Colour Purple, Bermudian Candace Furbert has taken to the stage again in the West End production of Dreamgirls.
Ms Furbert has joined the ensemble of the hit show, which opened in London’s Savoy Theatre in November and stars Amber Riley from the US television show Glee.
The Tony Award-winning 1981 show follows the trials and tribulations of a young female singing group from Chicago, The Dreams, in the 1960s and 1970s.
Ms Furbert previously portrayed the Dragon and Fairy Godmother in UK touring production of Shrek, the Musical and was a member of the original London cast of The Book of Mormon.
