The public were given a taste of this year’s Bermuda Heroes Weekend at a special costume preview at The Fairmont Southampton last night.

Models showcased the outfits for each of the seven bands that will be taking part in the Parade of Bands 2017 and the public were able to learn more about each of the bands.

“It’s an excellent opportunity for the public to come out and see what’s available, see what’s on display,” BHW Ltd president Jason Sukdeo told The Royal Gazette.

“We are happy and excited to put the event on so everybody can see exactly what options they have coming up for June.”

The Launch event was part of the second annual BHW launch weekend, which kicked off with a celebration at Pier 6 on Friday, followed by a panel discussion and gala event on Saturday.
