A 48-year-old man was pronounced dead this afternoon after being found in an unresponsive state.

According to a police spokesman, emergency services responded to a report of an unresponsive male at a Longford Road, Warwick home at around 2.30pm today.

“EMTs performed CPR on the 48-year-old man at the scene and then transported him via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead,” the spokesman said.

“Foul play is not suspected and no further information regarding the deceased will be provided at this time, until next of kin has been notified.”
