A Hearts, Hats and High tea event will raise money and celebrate the 26th anniversary of Agape House.

The event will take place on Saturday in the Windows on the Sound room at the Fairmont Southampton, from 2pm to 5pm. Tomorrow is the last day to buy tickets.

Live entertainment will be provided by the Toni Barry band and singer Gita Blakeney, while a sumptuous high tea will be served on tables decorated with Bermuda floral arrangements.

Raffle prizes and special gifts for the most marvellous, unique and natural hat will be up for grabs. Hats are “not mandatory but most welcomed”, according to a press release.

Nicky Gurret, Friends of Hospice volunteer and co-organiser, stated: “Following the success of Agape House’s 25th anniversary tea party last year, the event is being mounted again.

Friends of Hospice executive director Cathy Belvedere stated: “Attendees at the Hearts, Hats, and High tea event last year were so enthusiastic and called on us to make the affair an annual event.”
