A young man shot in Pembroke remained in hospital this morning in stable condition, according to police.

The 19-year-old victim was shot in the Rambling Lane area at around 10.30pm on Thursday night.

“No arrests have been made at this time in connection with Thursday night’s shooting and the circumstances surrounding the matter remain unclear,” police said in a release.

“Detectives continue to follow all leads in an effort to get a better idea of what took place that night.”
