Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a hit-and-run along Front Street on Friday afternoon.
It happened near the Walker Arcade at around 3pm.
According to police, a 64-year-old man from the UK was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a motorcycle.
The vehicle did not stop following the collision, police said.
“The visitor fell to the ground and sustained a hand injury, which he received treatment for at the hospital,” police said in a statement.
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time — as well as the motorcyclist involved — is asked to contact Constable Mervin Homer on 295-0011.
