Police have identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash in Pembroke on Saturday night.

Michael Skinner, 41, was seriously injured following the single-vehicle crash on North Shore Road, near Church Lane, at around 9.15pm.

“It is now understood that the motorcycle he was riding struck a sidewalk,” police said in a press release today.

Mr Skinner was rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The Bermuda Police Service extended their sincere condolences to his friends and family in Monday’s release.

“A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to assist his family in this difficult time,” police said.

Mr Skinner’s death is the fifth road fatality of the year.
