Nursery school pupils and their parents have helped raise more than $500 for an asthma charity.

Youngsters from Once Upon a Time nursery school perform annually on World Asthma Day on the steps of City Hall to help Open Airways raise awareness about asthma.

This year the school raised $550 from parent donations that was passed on to Wendy Augustus, the managing director of Open Airways this week.
