Four arrested after Front Street stabbing
A 25-year-old man was yesterday treated for stab wounds after a fight on Front Street.
According to a police spokesman officers were dispatched to a “reported disturbance”, at around 2.30am yesterday.
“Initial information suggests a fight involving several individuals occurred in the vicinity of Parliament Street,” the spokesman said.
“An injured man, believed to be from Devonshire, received first aid from officers at the scene before being transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of stab wounds.
“Three men ranging in age from 18 to 25, as well as a 26-year-old woman, have been arrested in connection with the incident.”
The spokesman added that the scene was subsequently processed by police, and inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
