A 51-year-old man died after collapsing in the American International Building in Hamilton today.

Police attended the Richmond Road building after the man was found in a non-responsive state at 7.30am, according to a spokesman. Foul play is not suspected.

The victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified, police said.
