Twelve bus runs have been cancelled this morning, according to a spokesman for the Department of Public Transportation.

Eight of the runs were already scheduled to depart by the time the notice was sent out at 8.10am.

The other four bus routes affected were as follows:

Route 1, Hamilton to Grotto Bay, 8.15am

Route 8, Hamilton to Barnes Corner, 8.30am

Route 10, St George’s to Hamilton, 9am

Route 7, Barnes Corner to Hamilton, 9.04am.

The other routes were:

Route 7, Watford Bridge to Hamilton, 7.10am

Route 10, St George’s to Hamilton, 7.15am

Route 4, Spanish Point to Hamilton, 7.27am

Route 3, Grotto Bay to Hamilton, 7.30am

Route 2, Ord Road to Hamilton, 7.35am

Route 4, Spanish Point to Hamilton, 7.42am

Route 8D, Hamilton to Dockyard, 7.45am
