Coot Pond Road in St George’s, between Tobacco Bay and Barry Road, will be closed to facilitate the construction of the realigned Barry Road.

The closure will begin next Monday at 7.30am and is expected to remain in place until the end of November.

There will be no access for motorists from the pink house at 22 Coot Pond Road, near Tobacco Bay, through to the Barry Road junction.

Motorists wishing to visit Fort St Catherine’s, Blackbeard’s restaurant or St Catherine’s Beach will need to take a detour route via Old Military Road and the east section of Barry Road.
