A motorcyclist and a car were involved in a collision in Hamilton early Saturday morning, resulting in the motorcyclist being injured.

At round 12.10am, police and first responders were dispatched to the incident at the junction of Elliot Street and Union Street.

The rider, believed to be a 30-year-old Pembroke man, may have sustained serious injuries and is being treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
