North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish has been cordoned by police after a truck hit a wall and overturned near Bethel AME Church, close to the junction with Studio Lane.

Police advised at 11.30am that traffic was being diverted from the scene.

There do not appear to be serious injuries caused by the crash, a spokesman added — but the driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The accident occurred at about 11.10am as the vehicle was travelling west, when the driver apparently lost control.
