A woman tonight suffered serious head injuries after her bike crashed in Paget.

It was the third serious crash on the island’s road in less than six hours.

A police spokesman said the woman was rushed to hospital after the accident, which happened just before 8pm on South Road near Coral Beach tennis courts.

Traffic is being diverted while specialist officers examine the scene.
