Motorists will face a series of road restrictions this weekend.

Restrictions will be in place on South Road in Devonshire near the Botanical Gardens today and tomorrow for the 2018 Ag Show.

A police spokesman said: “Officers are assisting with traffic management in the area and will continue those duties on Saturday.”

Police advised motorists not attending the show to avoid the area.

A number of road closures and traffic restrictions will also be in place tomorrow morning in the East End.

The Butterfield Bank Grand Prix Road Race will affect motorists in the areas of Cooper’s Island Road, Clearwater Beach, Tommy Fox Road, Kindley Field Road, St David’s Road and Pepper Hall Road.

The closures and restrictions will be in place from 7.45am to 10am.
