The birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third child is to be celebrated tonight with a gun salute.
The Royal Bermuda Regiment said a field gun will fire from Hamilton’s Albouy’s Point at 6pm to mark the birth of the couple’s second son.
A single round will be followed by a rifle volley from a firing party.
Barricades will be put up along Point Pleasant Road, blocking traffic to Albouy’s Point, for the event.
The Bermuda Police Service will control traffic and spectators in the area and the Department of Marine and Ports will notify sailors.
