Pembroke Rotary donates to schools
Pembroke Rotary Club has handed over thousands of dollars to public primary schools.
West Pembroke Primary School received $25,000 after the fundraising fair and raffle at St Paul’s Church Hall last month.
Other schools received a combined total of more than $50,000.
Cash will be used for items including professional development materials, reading support supplies, Cambridge Curriculum math support materials and support for Bermuda history programmes.
In total, $83,500 was donated to the following schools:
• West Pembroke Primary: $25,000
• Harrington Sound Primary: $9,100
• Northlands Primary: $8,600
• Elliott Primary: $7,400
• Paget Primary: $6,600
• St David’s Primary: $5,800
• Victor Scott Primary: $5,500
• Gilbert Institute: $4,800
• Dalton E. Tucker Primary: $4,200
• Francis Patton Primary: $2,400
• Prospect Primary: $2,400
• West End Primary: $1,700
