Motorcyclist hurt in four-vehicle crash

A motorcyclist suffered severe leg injuries in a crash involving four vehicles this morning.
The man’s bike collided with a car and two motorcycles as he travelled west along Somerset Road, near St James’ Church, Sandys, at about 7.30am.
The car was in the westbound lane, attempting to turn right on to Church Hill Place, and the two motorcycles were stopped in the eastbound lane when the crash happened.
The victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment, but nobody else was injured.
Motorists faced traffic delays as a result of the incident.
