The public can meet the hostesses of the T-Talk Show at hardware store Gorham’s today as part of a breast cancer awareness event. The event, Think Pink and Savour the Tastes of Bermuda, will include food samples from several restaurants at the St John’s Road store.

The T-Talk hosts Aziza Furbert, Teneika Eve, Patricia Pogson-Nesbitt, Kristin White and Marlene Juliet Flynn will talk about fashion, relationships, beauty, religion and politics from the perspective of women.

The Royal Gazette’s Drive for Change campaign will have a stall with information designed to promote road safety. Customers will be asked to sign a Drive for Change petition for continued roadside breath tests, the introduction of speed cameras and proper rider training.

Entrepreneur Patrice Frith Hayward will also give a presentation on motivational speaking. The restaurants taking part are Rosa’s, Portofino, Huckleberry and Chopsticks, all in Hamilton.

Entry is $10 for women and $20 for men — cash only. Proceeds will go to event partner the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre. The event will run from 6.30pm to 9pm.
