Wilson meets health group
A team tasked with providing feedback to government on Bermuda’s soaring healthcare costs have met with the Minister of Health.
The members of the Health Financing Reform Stakeholder Consultation Group met with Kim Wilson to help achieve a goal “to provide affordable and sustainable healthcare for all Bermuda residents”.
Goal nine of the Bermuda Health Strategy aims to explore options enabling health financing through “the most cost-effective means available”.
The role of the group is to review the financing options and analysis prepared in a 2012 Report on a Health Financing Structure, and to provide feedback to the ministry about how the options may impact the people of Bermuda and key stakeholder groups.
