Clarien Bank is to team up with Greenrock and BeSolar today in a bid to promote energy efficiency.

The public is invited to back a more environmentally-friendly island by swapping up to five incandescent or fluorescent light bulbs for energy efficient LED bulb at the Clarien bank in Hamilton’s Reid Street.

The event will also celebrate environmental charity Greenrock’s Denim Day.

Solar energy company BeSolar will highlight its technology and green energy experts will be available to talk about energy efficiency at home and at work.

Bulbs will be available while stocks last.
