Mirrors artwork presented to Burt
The Mirrors Programme presented David Burt, the Premier, with artwork from the programme’s second annual Art and Digital Competition.
Mr Burt attended the Art and Digital Competition reception at Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art this summer and voiced his appreciation for the work.
He said: “The calibre of artwork our students produce is outstanding.
“By recognising and celebrating their work we will give our students the encouragement and confidence to continue to express themselves through the arts.
Mr Burt added: “I look forward to displaying these paintings in locations throughout Government, including a few in my office.”
The Premier was given work by student artists Yanni Squire, Logan Jones, Tatiana Butterfield, Kayla Raymond and Julia Pimentel.
And another student, Shaania Haak, donated her work for the Mirrors Programme office.
