Park to host Movie Lounge
The third and final Movie Lounge of 2018 is scheduled for this Friday, November 16th. Queen Elizabeth Park will once again serve as the venue. This free event is organized by the City of Hamilton and has proven to be very popular with families to usher in the weekend and enjoy the outdoors while being entertained in a beautiful park setting.
Incredibles 2 will begin at 5:30pm and Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom will screen at 7:30pm. The City of Hamilton encourages the public to come out and bring blankets and chairs, perhaps a picnic or take-out, and settle in for a double-header of film. There will be several vendors at the event including Twilight Entertainment providing popcorn, drinks and candy and Budget Enterprise with kid’s novelty toys. There is a Movie Package available on www.ptix.com that movie-goers can purchase for $30 that includes a blanket, large popcorn, large candy and 2 large drinks.
Event organizer, Thomas Lightbourne, said of the event, ‘This is our last Movie Lounge for the year and we hope that folks come out and enjoy these two films. They are both box office smashes, so we hope to see a great crowd. It’s a cooler time of year so we definitely encourage movie-goers to bundle up as they come out for a fun evening of film.’
Incredibles 2 is rated PG and Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom is rated PG-13.
