There were 1,459 road victims admitted to the Emergency Department from January 1 to October 31 of this year.

Bermuda Hospitals Board released its figures showing that 132 of those were admitted to acute care wards and 18 to the Intensive Care Unit.

Eight were discharged to overseas medical facilities, eight were aged 18 or under and 116 were tourists.
