BEDC launches entrepreneurship events
Businesspeople will get the chance to show off their skills as detectives and bowlers at two special networking events.
Teams will be invited to track a trail of clues around Hamilton and take part in a bowling night.
The event is held under the Bermuda Entrepreneur — BE — banner by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation.
Erica Smith, BEDC’s executive director, said: “As we wind down from all the exciting events held to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week this month, we want to encourage entrepreneurs to come out and kick up their heels and unwind.
“Both events are designed to allow entrepreneurs to have a fun break but also to have the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs in a fun and festive environment.”
The BE a Hunter event is on Friday from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
The cost is $30 per person or $135 for a team of five and some of the proceeds from the event will go to Tomorrow’s Voices Autism Centre.
The hunt will start at the BEDC offices in Church Street and teams will only learn the end point by solving all the clues.
The Be a Bowler event will take place on November 30 from 6pm to 9pm for $30 per person or $40 person, including transport from the City to Strykz Bowling Lounge in St David’s.
The event bus will leave BEDC’s offices at 5.30pm.
