Strong winds slamming the island have delayed incoming cargo, an island courier service said.

ZipX said that high winds at LF Wade International Airport would prevent a plane from being unloaded today.

A company spokesman added: “Items arriving on today’s flight will not be processed in time for pick up this evening.

“We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused our valuable customers.”
