A man seriously injured last week in a crash near Blackwatch Pass has been released from hospital.

A police spokesman said the 49-year-old man suffered chest pain after hitting a wall on North Shore Road, Pembroke, near the north gate of Government House, last Wednesday.

As of this morning, the man has been discharged from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.
