A man who was struck by a car almost two weeks ago remains in stable condition at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

A police spokesman said the 62-year-old man was seriously injured when he was hit by a car as he walked along North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish, near the junction with Trinity Church Road, on January 17.

The spokesman said the man was still in the Intensive Care Unit this morning.
