Dellwood receives iPads donation
Members of Allied World’s Bermuda office visited Dellwood Middle School recently to donate 25 iPads for students to use for their math assignments.
“Allied World is delighted to support the educational advancement of Bermudian students,” said Colm Singleton, Head of Bermuda office. “Several of our employees are alumni of Dellwood, so it is very gratifying to give back to the school.”
Kelly Donville, the 2017 Bermuda Outstanding Teacher Award recipient from the Bermuda Education Network charity, explained that the new iPads were very helpful for both her and the students. For example, she can log into her device and see the children working on their assignments in real time. This helps her to provide instant feedback and support on assignments.
