Work on upgrades has begun at the Bull’s Head car park.
The top floor of the parking lot will be closed for four or five days while improvements are made to the infrastructure, according to the City of Hamilton.
All access is expected to be reinstated by Monday.
A spokeswoman said: “Motorists are asked to find parking on the lower floors, where available bays can be found.
“The top floor is very rarely used due to available bays on the third level, once the ground and second floors are full. The City apologises for any inconvenience.”
