The Bermuda Sloop Foundation is hosting 9 students from Portland, Maine this week. The students are accompanied by 2 chaperones and will travel back to Portland on June 29. They’ve had the opportunity to explore the island from east to west, participating in outdoors activities each day and relishing in their new experiences on our beautiful island. This collaboration and exchange programme with Tall Ships Maine, has been in the works for the past year. Sailing on Spirit of Bermuda, 10 Bermudian students will accompany the visitors back to Portland. Upon arrival in Portland, they will then attend Camp William Hinds, in Raymond, ME, before returning home to Bermuda.
