Trash collection dates for the Cup Match holiday were announced yesterday.

The public works ministry said garbage normally collected on August 1 and 2 would be collected on August 3.

Recycling waste usually collected on August 1 will be collected a day earlier and recycling scheduled for August 3 will be collected a day later.

All other trash collection will be unaffected by the holiday.

Tynes Bay public drop-off holiday times are from 9am to noon.
