Reminder on land tax survey forms
The Land Valuation Department is reminding all land taxpayers to complete and submit the Survey Forms received in the mail during the first two weeks of November 2019.
For landowners who have not received the survey form, please download a copy from the Department’s website at www.landvaluation.bm and follow the guidance provided on the 2020 Revaluation page.
Under the Land Valuation and Tax Act 1967, it is a legal requirement that all land taxpayers complete and return their survey to the Land Valuation Department.
The information collected will be treated as confidential and used solely for the revaluation exercise. It will not be shared with any other entity.
The next Valuation List is to be published on 31 December 2020 and will provide information about properties, including data on rent levels throughout the island.
For assistance, please visit the Land Valuation Department on the second floor of Global House, 43 Church Street, Hamilton, or for specific help with the either residential, or commercial and tourist survey forms, call 297-7964 or 294-0478 respectively, and a member of staff will be happy to assist.
The Department wishes to thank all land taxpayers for their cooperation with the 2020 Island wide revaluation process.
