Information Commissioner on the move

The Information Commissioner’s office will be closed on Friday for a move to a new location.
Gitanjali Gutierrez, the Information Commissioner, said that the new office would enable to ICO to “operate more efficiently and allow us to offer additional services on site, such as training”.
She added: “I would like to express appreciation to the Government for its support and assistance through the ICO’s relocation process.
“We look forward to continuing our work in our new location.”
The information commissioner has moved to the the Maxwell Roberts Building on Hamilton’s Church Street from the Valerie T Scott building on the city’s Reid Street.
The new telephone number will be 543-3700.
The ICO will reopen during normal business hours on Monday.
