Officer denies drug, computer access charges

A police officer has denied drug offences and charges of unauthorised access to police records.

Lakila Hart, 27, was charged in Magistrates’ Court yesterday with two counts of offering to supply drugs to another person. Both offences are alleged to have happened on March 22, 2019.

Ms Hart, from Paget, was also charged with three counts of unauthorised access to police records and two counts of instructing a colleague to collect unauthorised police information.

The offences are alleged to have happened between March 22, 2018 and December 29, 2018.

Magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case until April 6 and released Ms Hart on $5,000 bail.
